For over 30 years, Stephen Lochmueller has been a dedicated businessman who has served in many leadership positions, including company president, CEO, and employer to 200+ hard-working people. He has guided and helped oversee the direction of multiple telecommunications companies, including Lightyear Network Solutions. Stephen was also a tech and communications liaison under Kentucky Governor Brereton Jones, where he helped upgrade all state government communications systems.

From 1971 to 1974, Stephen played basketball for the University of Kentucky. A member of the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame, Stephen combined his love for sports with business to take on the role as athletic director for Eastern Kentucky University. As athletic director, Stephen hired 10 new head coaches, refurbished athletic facilities, elevated department revenues and won four Ohio Valley Conference Commissioner's Cups for overall athletic excellence.

Today, Stephen puts his leadership experience to work as a small business coach for the Kentucky Small Business Development Center. He has consulted at no cost to existing and potential entrepreneurs in Madison County & Southern Kentucky. Stephen has also facilitated low-cost training programs taught by industry experts and qualified consultants for the small business community.

Stephen has been married to Christi Lochmueller for 35 years. They attend Eastside Community Church and are proud parents and grandparents.
